ABOUT
Amy Barovick
I grew up in the river town of Ossining, New York, in what felt like a secret garden—surrounded by winding pathways, flower beds, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and a lively mix of dogs, cats, and other creatures. Nature has been a constant source of inspiration and wonder for me ever since.
I studied Illustration and Graphic Design at Parsons School of Design in both New York City and Paris, and began my creative career in NYC. I designed books for McGraw-Hill, art directed at Estée Lauder, and later ran my own freelance design business. After the birth of my second child, I joined Reid Design, where I worked on interior drawings and managed apartment renovation projects throughout the city. Later, I co-founded a successful home staging business, staging over 100 apartments in New York over eight years.
Now, I’ve returned to my first love: painting. I divide my time between Palm Beach Gardens and New York City, creating art in my studio that is deeply influenced by the natural world I grew up in and the environments that continue to inspire me. I paint with an eye for movement, color, and the emotional resonance of place—always grounded in the beauty of nature.
